We've accomplished a tremendous amount of work in a short period of time.

In just two weeks, we've signed 5 Executive Orders to assist the COVID-19 response. In all, we've waived and suspended 170 state statutes and regulations.

Our priority continues to be the health and well-being of all Missourians. Together, we will defeat this and emerge stronger than ever.

More PPE has arrived! Out at the warehouse this morning with Missouri Department of Public Safety Director Sandy Karsten where surgical masks, gloves, gowns, face shields, and other equipment is being rushed to healthcare facilities.

Many Missourians are working extremely hard to assist with the COVID-19 response.

The COVID-19 crisis is constantly developing and changing, but we are taking steps each and every day to slow the spread and protect public health and safety.

Mobilizing the National Guard will help us provide more immediate resources to our citizens and enhance Missouri’s ability to overcome this global pandemic.

I appreciate the President acting quickly on my disaster declaration request and the commitment of federal resources as we battle this unprecedented public health and economic threat to Missourians.

As I’ve said throughout our COVID-19 response effort, we will continue to pursue every way possible to adapt and deliver additional resources to help protect the health of Missourians and promote long-term recovery.
