Parson Campaign Announces Strong Support from Cole County Elected Officials

Governor Mike Parson attended the Cole County Lincoln Days at the Capitol Plaza Hotel in Jefferson City on February 17, 2020. In addition to speaking at the event, the governor announced campaign endorsements from local Republican elected officials.

“We are 100% focused on leading a team effort this November so we can continue working on the issues that matter most to Missourians like rebuilding our infrastructure and preparing our workforce for the jobs of tomorrow,” Governor Parson said. “We are honored to have strong local leaders who support our vision for Missouri and are committed to the priorities that keep our state strong.” 

The governor announced  the following endorsements from state legislators and local elected officials representing Cole County, including:

State Representative Travis Fitzwater (R-49)

State Representative Sara Walsh (R-50)

State Representative Rudy Veit (R-59)

State Representative Dave Griffith (R-60)

State Representative Tom Hurst (R-62)

Senator Mike Bernskoetter (R-6)

Jefferson City Mayor Carrie Tergin

Cole County Collector Larry Vincent

Cole County Presiding Commissioner Sam Bushman

Cole County Commissioner Jeff Hoelscher (District 1)

Cole County Prosecuting Attorney William Locke Thompson

Cole County Recorder Judy Ridgeway

Cole County Treasurer Eric Peters

At the event, Governor Parson discussed his vision for Missouri which includes building upon the creation of 40,000 new jobs since he has taken office, record low unemployment, historic levels of private sector investment and major businesses moving to Missouri.
